I'm glad I added this to my daily intake. After a night without any sleep, I thought okay, I could use some vitamin D. With the winter season and being busy with work, I needed vitamin D, which is not only great for sleeping, but also crucial to your body's internal organs. And the Carlson - Cod Liver Oil (Apple) flavor was a win. The bottle is rather small, but the thing works. The first day of taking it, I did not feel any major changes, but the second day, wow. Right after dinner, I could feel the sleep coming on, no more watching the time during those long sleepless nights, instead I found myself easily falling asleep and waking up feeling great. As for the taste, there is nothing foul or unpleasant. To me, it tastes great (Just like an oil). You don't really taste any apples in the oil. Although it is an apple flavor, but you can definitely smell the apple. The cod liver oil is even less potent than an olive oil.
