But I took a chance & I'm delighted I did. There's 2 volume control buttons on the remote, you can change it from 1 to 10. 10 is very loud, almost overpowering. I've been using the volume anywhere from 7-8 (and usually have loud music on for my workouts & still hear it perfect). In terms of functionality, I can't fault it. I'm using it mainly for tabatas and for the up/down countdown timers, but it also has other features & a custom feature mode (which i havent used just yet). But based on what I have used it for (so far), it's been very easy and simple to use. I was able to use it straight away without reading the instruction manual (very self explanatory & user friendly/common sense). The LED is vibrant and bright, my pic doesn't do it justice, I was impressed with the quality. All in all, a 10 out of 10 product. Best of luck **Q: Can this be used in Uk mains power supply and also with a power pack ??** A: yes. **Q: Can this be kept in a garage gym where it's very cold and have slightly damp with condensation (N Ireland winters!)? Would it last those conditions?** A: My garden room was 1 degree the other week and lasted ok . I don’t think you will have an issue **Q: Can this be set on normal clock mode, with a beep every minute? Also, would a 10,000mAH power bank run it for 3 hours?** A: Don’t think it can do the beep every minute in clock mode but yes the powerbank would run it. I run mine with a similar size one at my Martial Arts classes and it lasts for many hours between charges as it doesn’t take much to power it. The only thing I dislike is that if there's a power cut or you turn it off at the mains, it forgets all of your preset timers etc. so you have to start from scratch.
