And it’s cheap. *by K***F on Reviewed in the United States on 12 June 2022* The price is right. But if you’re not up the the task of figuring it out. You may want to find one with instructions. However it has protected my battery several times from excessive draw at low SOC. Also it has saved it from overcharging. It will report a higher voltage to your charger when any single cell reaches 4.2v. Thus stopping the charging.It won’t balance very well but if you’re too out of balance it will shut down. This has only happened a couple times. In which case i have to find the cell out of balance and manually charge/discharge it.I would say its worth it to me. Find another one for a comparable price. ### ⭐⭐⭐ A Textbook solution that only works in ideal conditions. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on 31 May 2022* Board does not have a real IC that controls the balancing. Non-smart passive balancing only works in ideal conditions with well-matched cells. Thresholds are crudely set with passive components which are meant to be precision components but are not. Might get away as an OEM part. Not suitable for DIY battery packs. Not suitable for cells meant to be on stand-by for long period of time. Do not put on reclaimed battery pack.
