Easy to set up, great picture clarity, and a LOT of options in the programming to be able to tweak the system to my liking. A little after 2 months of use, the system suddenly "lost" the hard drive. I tried reseating the cables to the main board, and it still did not pick it up. I swapped in an old drive I had and the system saw it and formated it with no problem. I contacted the Customer Support folks and explained what had happened, and they had me go through a couple of steps to troubleshoot the issue. After a few days (back and forth over email, with a major time difference to deal with) they agreed that the drive was dead. They sent a link to their preferred drive and had me purchase it through desertcart, and immediately sent me the total price as a refund. Review: Great Product - This system replaced my aging wired system that lost all but 2 of its 8 cameras due to connection problems over the years. This system was installed less than a week ago so while I can’t speak of durability I can say it was very easy to set up and the picture quality is great. Night vision is also quite good. Playback features are also very good with up to 8x fast forward speed. Cameras appear to be robustly built and should last quite a while. The human recognition feature is misleading as it is triggered by anything that moves.
