You plug this device into the wall and then you plug in the audio equipment power cord from a PA system, Home Theater Audio System, or any other audio system or musical instrument amplifier that you can hear ground loop "buzzing" out of the speaker/s. It is intended to be inserted between the wall outlet and the device you are plugging into the wall outlet. It will only remove the hum or buzz from the device/s you plug into it. I assumed i had a ground loop from the hdmi cable connected to it. When I unplug the hdmi it stopped. I connected the amplifier to the ground loop noise eliminator and it stopped it.
