Review: Great little surfacing plate! - I'm not sure what this is meant for but I was in a pinch and needed to take out a scratch/gouge on the cylinder head of my kfx450r quad when I was replacing the head gasket so I bought this because it could be delivered quickly. This plate was just big enough for the head and cylinder to fit with enough room to move it around and With the 60 and 80 micron wet sand paper this worked perfectly and got me back out riding quickly instead of having to wait to send the head out to a machine shop to get surfaced.
Review: Beyond impressed - So I used this with adhesive backed micron sand paper to resurface the heads on a 4.7L engine. 10/10 highly recommend, with some elbow grease and patience I got the heads just about under .001 by hand. Can’t express how happy I was with the result, 10 out of 10 seriously

The title says "3/8in T" pictures show 3/8" thick & micrometer shows 9.87mm.  Description says 5/16 inch thick.**
A: Sorry for confuse, the correct thickness is 3/8in.

**Q: Does it come with sandpaper as in the photo?**
A: Just the glass plate and anti slip mat.

**Q: how is 5/16 going to stay flat when some pressure is applied ?**
A: The glass plate thickness is 3/8in, it's heavy and super flat when stay on the counter top, trust it, you'll happy with it :)

**Q: How the glass plate is protected during shipping for other people? I just got shards wrapped in thin flexible plastic shipped in paper envelope.**
A: Mine came in a bubble wrapped box in a amazon envelope

Not dead flat, bowed by at least 0.01" as measured with feeler gauge and Machinist straight edge. I didn't bother seeing just how bad it was as my required tolerance was 0.005" or better so it was not acceptable. But otherwise nice piece of kit. Will likely figure out how to return it in the coming days.
