Vekibee Solar Powered Sonic Pest Repeller offers a poison-free and humane way to drive away moles, voles, gophers and other burrowing rodents. Every 20 seconds, sonic pulse penetrates the soil to irritate moles and gophers who are virtually blind and extremely sensitive to sound and vibrations. This method encourages moles to leave the property, and the solar operated spike continues to discourage return visits. Even on a cloudy winter's day, the solar panel will receive enough sunlight to effectively run the device continuously, the rechargeable battery backup will ensure the unit works well into the night. - Both the solar panel cover and aluminum spike are weather-resistant and corrosion-proof. Please keep the unit 4 inches above the ground to prevent it from being flooded in heavy rain. Aluminum spike is a better conductor of the repelling vibrations than plastic spike
