A 1/2" female threaded schedule 40 bushing, elbow, or tee will fit the discharge side of this pump. For my 50 gallon goldfish pond, I installed a 1/2" tee and used 2 risers. The 500 GPH pump is of sufficient size to have 2 fountain risers as long as you have no more than 2-3 feet head. **Q: Does this come with the box and 5 year pond master warranty?** A: Yes the item does come in the original product packaging along with the Danner 5 year Warranty **Q: Would this be suitable for use with hot water? Maybe up to 160°F?** A: Blake,Most mag drive pump list a max temp of about 90-100 degrees. Could use a little higher but 160 would require an oil cooled pump to prevent damage **Q: What are the overall dimensions of the pump? I need to make sure it can fit in my sectional sump** A: the pump is 4" wide + 5.5" deep including the front hose connection and 5.5" high including the top hose connection. Hoses don't bend easily. If that is an issue don't overlook it. Also, don't forget to allow for a filter attachment either if you need to filter the water going into the pump. I doubt that you do -if this is for a sump pump. How will it activate and turn off? I went through three other brands that failed before buying this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 24/7 for 8 years and counting *by T***N on March 15, 2022* The year was 2014. The project was to restore an unkept pond at the new house. I had the time but not a lot of money. I had to redo everything with the pond stone, by stone, new liner, and of course a new pump. I did a bit of research and decided to go with this one. This pond also ended up becoming the sump tank for my aquaponics system. At first, I used 2 separate pumps, one for the waterfall and the other for the system. After the smaller, cheaper pump failed, I redid the piping to just use this pump for both. I have had a few half-dry runs when the pump has drained the pond due to an issue with the piping, ( poor fish, didn't know what was going on). The pond and system have frozen a few times. But the pump has never let up or failed.
