Review: What a great frame! Clean - What a great frame! Clean, professional looking, sturdy, stackable! I want to preface this by admitting that I am mechanically inclined, I am good with my hands, and work fast. Let's address a few of the low star issues: 1) Poor instructions - The instructions have small writing, and can be downloaded from a website if you have poor vision. I could clearly see them with good lighting in the room I was assembling in. I also took the time to identify and layout everything beforehand so I knew what was going to go where. I suggest doing this, as taking this extra step moves things along quickly when you're not fiddling around guessing what is what. 2) Takes a long time to assemble - Took 20-30 minutes in total, without power tools, could certainly be done MUCH faster with a screw gun. Since it was such a small project, I didn't see the need for that. Every hole was tapped perfectly, and they were nice enough to include a set of hex tools for those who do not own them. There is a self locking nut that is used to install a couple parts which I had never seen before, but as long as you leave it loose, insert and turn the hex screw, they work like a charm! The most time consuming portion is the fan assembly, but I opted to use the screws that came with the fans instead of the hex screws in the kit. The fine threaded long screws were not necessary. 3) Fans were not included - yup, it says so in the ad, clearly. I ordered a nice set pwm fans here on desertcart that arrived with my kit. To give a low rating because YOU didn't read the ad is YOUR fault, not the manufacturer's. 4) MB holes did not line up - You put it together wrong, some pieces can be installed two ways, you must pay attention that the motherboard holes are aligned when installing those pieces. I made this mistake on one of my assemblies, and just had to flip the part around. All of that said, again, I think this is a wonderful frame. I made one modification after putting my first one together. The bar that the GPU is supposed to rest one, I flipped that so instead of sitting under the back of the card, it now rests under the riser extension. The bar was too far away for a Sapphire card I had, and it also makes it easier to exert force on top of the card into the riser. Assembly and instructions are not meant for someone that really needs to be babied. To be fair, no part of mining is that way, from hardware selection, software selection, configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, monitoring, etc... I can say out of the rigs that I have, this is my favorite frame to use until someone comes up with a great closed case design, I will continue to build on these!
Review: THIS IS GREAT IF... - This is a five star product if youve built one or two already and know how to assemble stuff off pretty limited instructions and just by looks or reverse engineering techniques. Top quality materials and has a very nice layout. Screws are quality never stripped one yet and rail bars are solid. All the included tools and hardware are excellent. Very rugged and holds a ton of weight literally I have almost 500lbs of rigs stacked on top of the bottom ones and it holds great. Lots of room for cable management but can only hold two psus so if your doing an 8 card 1080ti rig they have to be 1500 Watts each or higher for it to mine even with reduced power settings (trust me I tried). Fan apparatus setup is tedious to put together and isn’t super rigid but holds nicely and can move up and down the rail which is cool. one weird quirk is the anchors for the slot bars are cumbersome and sketchy if your not paying attention, but I think that’s all you can really have if you want the adjustability factor. They are just used in the weirdest places that don’t really need it like the very bottom frame connecting the long bars to the legs odd (also they use these anchors for the bar that screws down and holds the GPUs in place so your investment is riding on two anchors so make sure you put an extra anchor on each rail underneath the bar so if the top anchors slide out the GPUs won’t drop, trust me on this) those are pretty much the only downsides to this setup IT BECOMES A 2-3 STAR REALLY QUICK IF... YOU ARE A BEGINNER, NEW TO MINING, OR HAVE LITTLE EXPERIENCE WITH ASSEMBLY, YOU WILL SPEND ABOUT 2 HOURS OR MORE GETTING THIS TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME AND OVER AN HOUR THE SECOND. THERE IS LITERALLY NO STEP BY STEP ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS, JUST CRAPPY BLOW UP IMAGES WITH VERY LIMITED DETAIL. YOU WILL GET CONFUSED AND MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT SO BUY WITH DISCRETION BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED ABOUT 2 HOURS TO ASSEMBLE YOUR FIRST TIME... DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU Other than that I would recommend this to any serious seasoned miner with lots of assembly/build time. Youll get over the bad instructions and will be pleased with the layout, stackable weight capacity, and overall quality of hardware and frame pieces. This will be over a dozen I’ve bought and built, won’t go any other way. Also be patient sometimes these go on sale for the price of the 6 gpu or 150$ you can get them on eBay for cheaper sometimes but you have to wait at least a month (basic Chinese shipping) worth the wait if you can get a deal like 120-130$

### ⭐⭐⭐ it's a lot better than trying to build your own rig out of ...
*by J***I on December 22, 2017*

As an actual purchaser, I'll try to be as candid as I can with this. The product is "okay". Alright, it's a lot better than trying to build your own rig out of wood, screws, and nails and assemble/engineer the whole thing from scratch. I only gave three stars, and that's because it does do what is advertised, once assembled. Details are below. The good: Once this rig is together, it's pretty sturdy and looks "semi" clean and professional, depending on your cable management skills. There seems to be ample room for cable management and tie wrapping your cables to the supports. All the holes lined up properly, once I managed to decipher and enlarge the instructions. The rig came with all parts and ample screws. If I were to try and build one of these myself using tools, wood, and my time, I'd probably have a lot more invested than just by purchasing this rig to begin with. And since it's made of aluminum, it's sturdier than "cheap" wood would be of the same diameter. On the 8 GPU model, with the included mounts, you can choose to either use 6x140mm fans for possibly quieter operation and more air volume. (Note: My model had the multiple fan brackets instead of individual rails.) There is actually a product website for these, so go here to download a PDF of the instructions for the rig you purchased (6 or 8 GPU), for viewing on your computer screen or printing off larger copies. http://www.veddha.com/product.html The bad: It took me forever to get this thing assembled. Overall, it may have taken 3 to 4 hours total, as I got frustrated and kept leaving and coming back to this over the span of 2 days. The included instructions are worthless as they're printed too small. They're also unclear, so you're not completely sure which exact piece to mount in the proper order, so you may end up back stepping a time or two like I did. I had to go online and download a PDF copy, and even after printing out my own, had to zoom in on the actual PDF to see some of the detail. Even then I had to "figure" a couple of things out, myself. If you plan to stack two of more of these, there are no specific mounting instructions included anywhere for that, so good luck figuring that out. The ugly: The upper GPU support bar could be mounted toward the front or back of the rig, so you decide on what's better for you. The instructions indicate mounting the bar towards the front of the rig, providing support for the front of the GPU. However, you may want to assemble the bar towards the back of the rig so the pci express riser adapters can sit on this bar. This will have the effect of raising the GPU's a little more than what is shown in the pictures. If you're using "mini" versions of the various GPU's, you have to mount the bar towards the rear. Since I already had mine assembled when I observed this (and my cards are full length), I may leave it for now, but will probably change it later if I have to take the rig down for maintenance. The pci express risers did seem secure enough to stay put without sitting on the support bar, by just using their own locking mechanism and slot tension. It's probably best to go ahead and mount the bar towards the rear of the rig, though, ignoring the instructions/pictures on this. The fan mounts are horrible and add even more assembly time. The one I purchased had the multiple brackets that require the fans to support each other, once the fans are all mounted, instead of the single mounting rail. The single rail seems to be a much sturdier choice. As it was, with the separate brackets, the fans are never fully 100% rigid, especially toward the center of the fan array. The fan screws are "fine" threaded, so they may have a tendency to "strip" if you over tighten. I noticed on fans that had front-to-back screw holes, the screws had less of a tendency to strip out. Also, why are the fan mounts neon blue and yellow? Why not use white, gray, or even just plain black for the mounts? The included screws for mounting the motherboard and video cards to the back support rail are sub-par at best. They're allen screws and the heads are pretty tiny and when tightening, almost pull through the video card bracket and motherboard mounting holes. I chose to use real (fine threaded) computer screws, the ones that would normally mount a cd-rom or motherboard inside a computer case, for better support. The included screws will work if you have nothing else available, but that's about it. It seemed to me that the engineering could have been a bit better on this. Relying on angle supports for the bottom, horizontal support beams, seemed cheap, but did work. Those angle support brackets were very difficult to mount and align properly. But I guess overall cost was the main concern. The obvious: No, the rig doesn't come with fans, but why would anyone think that? The picture also shows video cards, motherboard, and power supplies, but they don't come with those either. The pictures are to show how everything looks once mounted. Use some common sense, folks!
