I have used this with my MacBook to attach a Logitech wireless keyboard that is solar powered, a wireless Microsoft mouse, and an external 23 inch Monitor all at the same time and I experienced absolutely no lag (yay!). Obviously, my laptop is pretty powerful and certainly has the processing power to handle this kind of set up, so I can't speak to the converters quality on a device with less processing power. I have also not had the need to use this to charge my laptop, which is the only device that I have with a USB-C end, so I can't speak to that either. Though that would also be heavily depended on the output of whatever cube or power source the converter was connected to.Bottom line: They are small, can fit in the USB-C ports right next to each other on a MacBook Pro, don't seem too wobbly, seem well made. Difficult to insert and even more difficult to remove. I do not have this issue with any other USB-C devices.
