Will the disc adhere? What is the weight limit?** A: The plate hanger won't adhere to the plate if it's sitting up on the ridges. You can get two plate hangers that will fit on either side of the ridges and use picture frame wire between them. 1.25 inch hanger will hold approximately 1/2 pound, and the others will hold a pound per inch of plate hanger. I hung three different plates, following all instructions to a "T". All three plates fell off the wall within a week. I wanted these discs to work so badly, so now I'll be giving them away at my next garage sale letting people know that they can try them for free, but I can't guarantee they'll work!
