The lights are bright and the colors are vibrant. They're very easy to install, just turn on the desired setting, point the solar panel in the right direction, then ignore them indefinitely. I'll leave them on for a couple months at a time, and as long as we get a little sun during the day, they'll last for at least 3-4hrs per night if not more and they're still just as bright as when I ordered them. The only other thing I'll say about them is rain/snow-proof: yes. Wind-proof, not so much. I had a strand hanging on my back porch and it snapped in a wind storm, so I wouldn't recommend letting them hang freely. The strands I wrap around the porch handrails have no issue.
