If you use water only of course that won’t kill anything. **Q: How many hours does one tank give?** A: It depends on the space you are spraying, based on square footage, the bigger the room the less time you have on a tank of disinfectant, If it is just hard contact points counters and chair arms hand rails doorknobs maybe as much as 2 hrs. same as you battery. also the finer you set the spray tip the longer it will last. Unfortunately there are no number out there for the purpose we are using it for, Disinfecting for me is a no brainer setting the tip on the fines mist to cover the entire area that is being sprayed, following up 10 min. later with a person wiping down with the same disinfectant, 1 tank about every 15 to 20 min.
