Then I apply Skin Tac around the sensor, wait 30 seconds and cover it with a waterproof band-aid style sensor cover. The covers are a bit hard to apply yourself but once you figure it out, its a breeze. The cover stays attached for around 10 - 12 days. The sensor remains stuck until I change it. The only down side is the Skin Tac stays sticky for another hour. I tried to wipe around with alcohol pads/ water but cover then starts to release. Its not bad so I just wait it out now. I purchased mine in March and was using it daily to secure my colostomy skin wafers for several weeks while I experienced major leakage issues until I found a new pouching system. After which, I continue to use it with each new appliance application every 4-6 days. Now, at the end of July, I still have 3/4 of the bottle left.
