Doesn't matter what brand you try. Might as well get the cheaper ones. However, my buddy bought the more expensive one and even that thing leaked just like this one...yet 3 times the cost. These are all cheap plastic with mediocre seals but, honestly, you are connecting a hose to flush the engine so as long as water is flowing fine and pushing the flush canister liquid through it is good. Water is going everywhere anyway so just be a little more careful not to have it soak your leg. I don't use it on washing down my boat but the same thing...you are washing your boat so if water leaks I am not really sure that is an issue...minus getting you a little wet.
