Review: These made a night and day difference on my 2006 Xterra. The truck had always bottomed out far too easily since purchasing it used over ten years ago. Haven’t bottomed out once since installing these leafs, and I’ve been pushing them hard on rough logging road sections that I’ve had to practically crawl over in the past. I didn’t measure the fender height before and after, but the lift is significant; I would estimate close to 3”.

**Q: Do you remove the overload spring to use this (2012 Frontier 4wd)**
A: No it goes between overload and first leaf

**Q: Can this aal sit on the spring perch without the overload spring? i have a 2nd gen nissan frontier. it just sits a little higher than expected.**
A: Thank you for messaging us. Our add a leaf kits can sit on the axle without an overload spring as long as you are not towing or taking your truck off-roading on a frequent basis. The overload spring acts as a bump stop and can keep your add a leaf from bowing the wrong direction. I would recommend letting the leaf spring settle for about week before removing the overload spring, but if you know what you're doing in regards to the installation, you are more than welcome to remove the overload spring to give yourself the extra .5"-.75" (thickness of the overload spring) of room to level out your truck. These made a night and day difference on my 2006 Xterra. The truck had always bottomed out far too easily since purchasing it used over ten years ago. My rear leaf spring of my xterra was bad so I just replaced it with dorman leaf spring. As the review from the dorman leaf spring for xterra, it was pretty bad. It took just 3 weeks to be settle down, and my xterra bottomed out again. So I just installed this add a leaf. Wow! What a surprise! Completely eliminate bottom out of my xterra, and the rear of my xterra lifted up around 1 inch or so. I have had my xterra for 8 years now. This is the first time I do not have the bottom out situation. In the past, I installed helper spring, which is pretty much useless although it is pretty easy to install. Men, this add a leaf. This is definitely helping a lot! I do not worry about load heavy stuffs in my xterra and bottom out any more! Definitely recommend this!!!!!!
