The crust was flakey and the apples, cinammony and delicious. Also a favorite to make with kids and such a hit with guests and a perfect sneak breakfast treat.So I have been eager for more desserts from her. I started with gingerbread. Sooo simple, moist delicious. The best smothered in whipping cream and kind of perfect for the winter months. Then on to the Currant Lemon Scones, the Apple Pandaowdy- both mouth-watering and simple to create. Looking forward to the Plum Pistachio Galette and see how it compares to her apple version. My Christmas gifts this year will be Nana Kiflings- melt in your mouth, just enough ground almonds to complement the buttery texture of these festive cookies.The pictures are beautiful and makes each confection look alluring. Molly writes with an easy armchair style- a mixture of humor and immaculate detailing for what needs to be done to replicate her desserts. I am clearly a fan- I've now got all 3 of her books. One more plug for One Pan and Done, her second book. The ultimate comfort food is accomplished with her Carrot Soup and so very many more delicious recipes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tasty treats without the faff! *by P***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 10, 2022* Aspiring bake sale heroes, this one's for you!This book is a MUST for all home bakers, especially if you're looking to feed a crowd. Slab pies are a particular triumph, and there are a bunch of good ones in here -- the crust to filling ratio is better than the standard-issue kind, and they're SO much easier to make. It's like bumper bowling, but more satisfying, and without the weird shoes.You won't regret having a copy of this around, especially with the holidays fast approaching. The people demand bakes. Armed with this tome and a half sheet, you can deliver.Side note: I also enjoy that the book was printed with rounded corners which match the radius of a sheet pan.
