But I’ve used 20 and no significant difference. chips don’t get as hot as gpu and good contact is mire important. higher conductivity means less soft and compliant. Need to make sure pads don’t hold gap open gpu to heatsink. I put 1.5 mm Artic tp3 pads in memory chips and made deep impressions. But compliant. probably only needed 1 mm pads will redo when i get chance. 21w/m2 doesn’t conform like this. My old Clevo 870cu had really soft pads nobody remembers what the material was but Artic is closest I’ve found.
