Happy so far. - Ordered this item to replace the one that came standard in my laptop that is problematic with the operating system I wanted to change to. The item arrived in a no frills packaging and I got it installed in place of my old one fairly quickly. No muss, no fuss. When the machine booted up in the operating system of choice (which is a Linux distribution), it was detected and it seemd to work as advertised! For the price point, I'm very happy with my purchase so far. The only little thing that I have noticed is that the wireless meter on the desktop shows the signal strength to my router a bit diminished when my laptop is in clamshell (dock) mode. It still keeps connection however so I'm not that worried about it at this time. There might be some parameters that I could tweak to maybe get more performance out of it however it is doing what I need it to do so I'm leaving it alone. For now.
