They are rather small though just as a heads up. Anyway, on to the review.Out of the package the longest spin time I had it in a short test was 4:31. The shortest so far has been 4:17. These are done with rather hard spins sitting on a table with no wind or other controllable resistance. So as far as the spin time, top grade especially for the price. Smooth sides makes it easy to fiddle around in the hand and the metal just feels good. I'd warn against putting these in your pocket though, as the bearings are indeed open.They are medal bearings as well. Now for the down side. Being metal, and well made for the most part, they are loud as hell on any hard surface such as a desk. If you don't have padding under them you're in for an ear woe. The center of the item is not gold as shown, but continues to be rainbow as the rest (which I really don't see as a downside but whatever). Shipping will take WEEKS. Other than that, solid toy at a really cheap price. The reason I removed a star is that it comes apart very easily to "oil" the bearings.
