We spent about another $450 on electrician and handyman to install it. I was able to set the control panel and we love it. We put down an invisible dog fence loop with battery operated rock in same space as electrical and our dogs are safe when gate opens and while it closes. We had an arm bend and could only think a teenager was riding the gate or a car hit it. Replaced it and it worked for awhile. Turns out our gate had pulled free from our brick wall and that needed repairing. Box wasn’t closed all the way and a slug may have dried itself on board. $90 and a new control board is on its way! Love this gate. Customer service very helpful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ E8 Dual Gate Opener is the best replacement for overly expensive outdated Elite Miracle 1 systems. *by R***. on October 14, 2019* E8's Dual Gate Opener System is the best replacement gate opener that I could find to replace my expensive Elite Miracle 1 system, which Chamberlain discontinued. E8 systems in the US differ somewhat from those sold in their Australian Homeland, so don't download the online manual for your install planning. I found the center stop they require impracticable in snowy environment, but easily built an alternative that's extremely reliable. They should but do not offer alternatives to that, as well as spell out how to use your existing wireless remotes, ground loops and motion sensors, and their Slidell tech support is not worth the phone call.E8 is built so well, powerful and easily replaced that despite the limitations noted, is by far the wisest best value choice that I could find on the market!
