A must for night riding! *by R***L on June 10, 2022* I was a bit hesitant to buy them with the promotional video mentioning the "dynamic circular movement" and comparing them to what looks like a dim taillight. It seems like a lot of marking mess. I'm happy to say after using them that they are actually really good! I highly recommend them. I bought them because I commute on my bike at night. The more visible you are the better. These are a no brainier if you ride on the road a lot at night! The flashing is visible in daylight but where these will shine (No pun intended) is at night with steady light. If you don't commute on your bike at night they do have a pretty good cool factor. These would look really nice in some of the glow rides. If it's worth it to you only you can decide that. It comes with four plastic LED modules that charge by USB-A (What most people just call USB). It comes with a four port USB hub that allows to charge all four modules at the same time. It doesn't come with a power adapter but most of us have an old one lying around. I repurposed an old Apple branded 5 watt adapter and it worked fine. The modules slide into the pedals and magnetically lock in place. The plastic seems durable but when it's in the pedal it's protected by the aluminum pedal so no issue if you were to hit the ground with them. The pedals are aluminum and feel secure and hold your shoe really good. They're not spiky like mountain bike pedals (Not something you want on a commuter bike) but better than most stock bike pedals. I think they are perfect for commuter bikes. I like how the white light always faces forward and red backwards. There's no need to turn them right because it has a sensor that changes the light automatically. They go into standby mode in 30 seconds then sleep mode in 3 minutes. The paper that came with them says battery life is 3+ hours on steady, 11+ on flashing, and 36 on eco flash.
