Unlike other chains which have deep grooves on each link in order to accomodate the next link, and so on and so on and so on, this one has some not-so-deep, barely-there, grooves, and so it just .... twists, and won't lay the way it should on your pet's neck. Still ... it looks so FIERCE and BAD4SS, I think! Wouldn't you agree? Lol! We LOVE it!!! My husband dislikes the '$' charm I bought seperately to go with the chain. He says it should be reserved for a boy dog - and our boy dog is a little Chihuahua, so that won't work, but both my son and I happen to disagree.
