Wrong part ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for DIY mechanic, but CHECK PIN SIZE ELSEWHERE *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2019* <>You are ALWAYS supposed to use WITH a rear stand already in place.Stand works great... but it doesn't come with pins for EVERY bike (has 13mm, 15mm, 16.5mm, 17mm, 19mm and 20mm pins), and trackside doesn't even make the larger ones. Not sure if another brand's will fit or not (venom, vortex, etc looks CLOSE, but not sure the same).Combine that with the pin chart being wrong in SEVERAL places, and you may be disappointed if you don't research on your own. Look on a forum for your EXACT bike to get the pin size (not a lift maker's chart), then check if its included. Don't use a sloppy pin... it won't be as stable, and the top bar won't be held straight out (leaving it to hit fairings/headlight brackets).Pins are simple... you could have a machine shop make one, or rig one out of butchering a socket, or slipping a socket over a pin... but kind of a hassle when other brands offer ALL the pins sizes for their lifts. These pins are a 19mm base (based on the 19mm pin being the straight shank)... I THINK other similar brands are a slightly larger base, so not interchangeable... but I haven't tried yet. If this comes with the pins you need... then its a GREAT lift for the money.The big name brand with gold finish (like my rear stand) is built like a tank. It would take 20years of abuse, being thrown around a garage, bouncing in a trailer/truck being hit by other equipment, even being hammered on. This one is thinner tubing, and bolted rather than welded... its PERFECTLY sturdy for using as a lift, but might not take the same long term abuse.Specific info: Works FLAWLESSLY on a 2nd gen (03-09?) SV650 without removing fender. It WILL work fine on a 2007 era Ninja 650r once I get the right pin. My (03-09) Buell XBscg (lowered version of the S) is tricky. You HAVE to remove the fender. When sitting on the ground, the tire rests against the stand (last pic). You can leave the head pin out, maneuver the stand into place, then slide the head pin up into the head, then install the retaining clip. You COULD jack up the bike just a hair (XB can be jacked by muffler) to get clearance. That's how I took it off the stand... put it down, then jacked it up just enough to extend the fork legs to give clearance to remove the pin.
