I like using them for bake sales I assist with because the product is protected from anything floating around in the air and customers can look closely at the item. (My group does a lot of drive-through bake sales) I also bake for funeral luncheons and I like having the items protected from attendees fingers. One thing about these containers is that two can easily stick together and it doesn't look like you have two instead of one. If the clam shell does not lock together easily, take another look at the container. You will see you have picked up two instead of one container. They snap together securely and easily when you have only one container. They make a great display on a table too. They are not completely air tight. Some air can get into the container from around the edges but it does keep the item fresh a long time.
