I need a solid answer because I don't want to strip/damage the threads on a bathroom faucet collar handle, or else the collar won't screw back on. (I'm replacing the hot water cartridge and there's two flat slots on the collar threads that allow for a wrench to hold the unit in place while you use another wrench to remove the cartridge.
