It has always worked great. Recently my husband accidentally ran over the corner of the solar panel after it fell over in high winds and IT STILL WORKS! The whole panels glass is shattered and it still charges just fine. I just reordered the charge controller because the lid on the waterproof tub I had it stored in blew off and a heavy downpour filled it with water and destroyed the charge controller. I was so I'm pressed with the abuse it took before that and it just worked. No issues with anything. This set up is well worth the money but I do recommend a second solar panel for faster battery charge if your panel won't be in full sun all day or if you use a lot of electricity at night.
