Whilst these individual wires would be unnecessary for those things as there are specifically designed cables for those purposes these are good examples of what this wiring is intended for. I think if you’re concerned about amp/current ratings it sounds like you may prefer larger gauge wire or cable. And like I said as far as AWG is concerned 24 is the thickest thus allowing for the greatest amp/current to pass.
