I have been raise bed gardening for over 20 years and these are my favorite corners I ever used. I would recommend using two 2x6 boards for each side. 2x12 will work also but cost is much higher. I would not recommend using any 2x4 boards with these corners. They are built for either 2x12 or two 2x6 boards on each side. I would also recommend using cedar wood and treat the wood with Garden Box Armor also sold on Amazon. If you do this the raised beds should last 15 to 20 years. If you do not you will be lucky to get 5 years of use before they rot. Just buy dimensional lumber (2x8, 2x10, 2x12; pressure treated or otherwise safe for outdoor use), cut to length, insert into the kit, and screw together. Be mindful to level it before filling with soil. The one pictured is just 2 2x10s for the long sides and a 3rd cut in half for the short sides. So literally just 1 saw cut for the frame.I knocked the sturdiness down a star because the included screws are not that great.
