Absolutely no idea why.This book is okay, but for those people who are interested in reaching B1+ level and being able to speak the way that Persian speakers REALLY speak, I wouldn't recommend this book. A lot of the vocabulary that you learn in this book is only useful when writing and isn't used in conversation. If your goal is learning how to write, this book is alright, but if you want to be able to speak naturally I would avoid this book entirely and save yourself the time and money.If your goal is SPEAKING and interacting with people who speak Farsi. Learn with a website like persianlanguageonline.com because it has both the spoken and written forms of the language with lots of dialogues/videos/mp3s to help your progress. It's 100% free and I've learned WAY more from that website compared to this book.Once you've learned some basic grammar and some communication phrases from that website, my next piece of advice would be to go to italki.com or verbling.com and hire yourself a tutor and practice 1-2 hours per week while you continue your learning in your free time. A bit lazy, if you ask me. But for nonetheless. Is definitely recommend it. I haven't finished it, but still good though.
