Review: Great culture if you like thick creamy yogurt. - I found the instructions easy to follow. It makes 2 qts of yogurt like it says. The yogurt is thick creamy and a little tart but not sour like other yogurt. I followed the instructions but next time I'm only going to heat the milk to 195 or so. I did 8 hrs at 108 degrees in a ultimate yogurt maker. I also added 2tlbs of nonfat milk powder to make it a protein yogurt. You don't need to strain the yogurt because it's comes out really thick. But next time I will so it will last better and longer. I think it will take a little bit of the tart away as well. But all in all a great yogurt culture and differently will buy again. The spoon jar is after I put some honey and vanilla in it the other is untouched. Also I did drain off the whey/condensation right after made and before I put it in the fridge. Wasn't much at all really basically condensation.

I had bought a Bulgarian starter from another seller on Amazon it never worked so I ordered another starter from same company tried again. Didn’t work. Was very disappointed. So I ordered this one and it worked extremely well. Nice thick creamy yogurt and it only took 6 hours to ferment . So happy now, as the only yogurt I enjoy is the Bulgarian and rarely can find it in stores here. Now I’m 😄happy. Thank you for an outstanding product.
