Allow room for fans below the hood. This is a wonderful unit. I am very happy with my purchase. The price was $200 less than what I could have purchased locally. This unit also had much more power than the others I looked at. **Q: Is this product white or off-white? and is it 760 cfm or 190 cfm? it seems to have two different description.** A: The color is white. It's 760 cfm. **Q: Can it be mounted from back** A: Yes. Besides mounting from the cabinet above, the K202 also comes with brackets for mounting on the wall (back) **Q: Can this unit convert to ductless operation?** A: Negative ghost rider... If you do A LOT of cooking, ductless is a poor way to go. There's a lot of work for duct, but it's well worth the trouble. Spend a little more on elbow grease to save on constant cleaning of sticky-grease. Believe me. I'm 300% happier. TIP: change the bulb out to LED.
