I couldn’t tell from the photo if they would be bulky, but they actually aren’t – the soles are about 1/8" higher around the lip than the regular affordable flip-flops. The material feels like a sturdier version of yoga mat material. The straps are soft and the raised groove where the straps attaches doesn’t bother underneath my toes. The soles have a slight grooved triangle pattern underneath but surprisingly doesn’t accumulate much dust/dirt in clumps like my regular flops when wearing them around the house. The size 8 women’s fit size 7.5 size well. My feet are thin but a slightly wide/normal width. At first, they felt slightly narrow, but I think you have to get used to feeling how support footwear actually feels! I’ll probably get another pair for the beach. I won’t be going back to my O-d N-vy flip-flops. Not even sure if I would enjoy H-vi-nas, they’re very flimsy. Highly recommend trying these out! Additionally, they are easy to walk in as flip flops-they stay put and have good cushioning. Highly recommend them, as an official “senior” these are the best!
