I don't have a coffee maker, as I'm the only one in my house that drinks coffee. So now I just make myself a cup for when I first wake up, and it leaves enough for some more to go with me.My only complaint is that you can't fully get rid of the coffee grounds that get stuck in the strainer, but that is very minimal. I fill the canister with water and then let the lid sit on with the strainer down in there, and that takes off most of it. But I like it because it is a no muss no fuss solution to a coffee maker, it is small, so I can stick it in my cupboard and not have it out on my counter. I have one minor annoyance from the beginning: the glass doesn't come out of the metal frame, which immediately starts to trap water and rust if you wash it at all. My husband was willing to overlook this flaw. However, with less than 60 days of usage (approximately 4-5 days a week so maybe 45 morning uses) the top has FALLEN APART. The whole thing is now useless.
