Out of the box, this new yellow roller seems to be well made and fit together snugly with good wheel motion. Once I tried it out, I was pleased by two aspects; the wide grip on the handles was much more comfortable on my wrist, and the wider wheel kept me more stable during the core exercising. My carpeting will take less abuse as well. My only suggestion for improvement would be to increase the size of the floor mat that comes with the roller; I'm 6' 1" and have large/wide legs so my knees barely fit on the pad.
