Actually, whenever you press the click surface down (and note the entire touch surface is actually one big clickable button, not the design I'd have gone with, but whatever), it will always default to a left click if you are touching the left side of the touchpad, even if you are touching the right side with another finger (also, unlike a normal laptop touchpad, a 2 finger tap will not do a right-click).
