The inside dimensions on the case is 4.75 x 3.75. Thickness would not be an issue. **Q: Does this fit the WD My Passport 1TB?** A: Yes, it does. Mine fits perfectly **Q: Does this fit the Toshiba Canvio Connect 2TB Portable Hard Drive?** A: Unlike many reviewers, I'll have to disagree about fit. Sure the Canvio fits inside this. It would fit inside a Mack truck too. Point is, there's TOO MUCH room in this case, so the drive just bangs around inside, when dropped, the drive accelerates a bit before stopping once the case hits the ground. NOT good for a hard drive. I want a snug fit on my drive and this isn't it, too much room inside this case. **Q: will this fit the 4tb** A: It fit my western digital 4tb drive just fine.
