The scent is VERY strong when you open the bottle so there's no real danger of using too much since your nose simply won't let that happen. But don't let the strong initial scent throw you - once it runs through your machine the clothes come out smelling just clean, not overly perfumed. It's also economical. When compared to other brands, this works out to be on par or even a little less than some. Once you break it down, if you use the amount you're meant to, it works out to about a quarter a load which makes it easy on our budget. For us, that's a win-win. Consider most all natural products have insane prices, that makes this a truly rare find.
