I had the same questions and asked Bonide directly and the answer was NOPE. They directed me to the granules instead. Frankly, I think that this product is very misleading as most reasonable gardeners understand "systemic" to mean a treatment for the soil which is drawn into the plant and kills insects from the inside out. It's not. **Q: How much do you mix in gallon of water for dogwood fungus?** A: This is *not* a funguside. It's a systemic insecticide. You mix according to directions on the bottle and spray it on. It won't be effective for fungus on dogwood. An important word of *caution*.... wear latex gloves when mixing and spraying. Remember this is for bugs and that you're just a very big bug. Small amounts can have effects that don't show up right away, and do accumlate if you spray again and again with skin contact. Wash any clothes that might get spray mist on them immediately (and alone in the wash load) after spraying. **Q: can this be used in an atomizer?** A: Please see application instructions on the label: https://www.bonide.com/assets/Products/Labels/l941.pdf **Q: How many ounces per 1 gallon of water should we mix?** A: 2 tablespoons = 1 oz per gallon Up to 4 tablespoons = 2 oz per gallon It depends on the type of insect you are trying to kill.
