Selecting the right location for the antenna is the most important step. It wants you to put it in a South facing window with no blinds. As you can see from my pictures, that’s not necessary. Mine is pointing South and receiving a 95-100 % signal, (3) bars, through the wall. Once everything was connected I turned both the radio and Bose Wave on and verified I was receiving the SiriusXM radio advertisement channel. After that is when I contacted a rep via chat on their website and selected a plan. Since I already have an account associated with my car, it was very easy to get listening. This is a great radio receiver and I am amazed at how easy everything was. SiriusXM requires a paid subscription for those that might not be aware.
