I looked up a YouTube for the Cherokee battery and they showed a negative terminal and a positive terminal for the purpose of connecting jumper cables. They are on the right side of the engine compartment. The negative terminal is just a metal stick with no nut or anything that you can use to connect the negative wire on the repeller. I am using the repeller on a riding mower which is a rough environment for the repeller. This allowed me to easily attach and remove the repeller when I am mowing. So this is a way for you to connect to the negative stick terminal on your Cherokee.
