I try to put it near a charging spot, but it just looks very awkward and I think it will be too obvious. I was hoping this would have been specified as needed to be plugged in instead of being battery operated. As for the quality, it is pretty decent and I would give that a good thumbs up. For the price, 1080p and seemingly to be 30 frames a second, it is still a good hidden camera. I only rated this low because it is hard to find a good spot to place this in my house.
