## Description

Review: Works as described - Works great. This is a great product.
Review: Works - I used this to reduce the voltage on a Power Wheels that now operates on a Dewalt 20V Max battery. The board appears to be relatively simple. I am not an experienced electrical technician, but the one feature I would have liked to see was some indication on the dial as to what voltage was being given. In lieu of this, I placed an LCD voltage monitor on the output side and can now monitor the voltage being sent to the motor, but it’s essentially useless as the meter will show high spikes of voltage and then drop, which I suspect is the result of the use of the lithium ion batteries. Nonetheless, when the dial is too low, the motor will not turn, and an adjustment of the dial will adjust in over-voltage, so this piece certainly does work.

## Features

- 7-70V Wide Voltage & 30A High Current – For brushed DC motors only (not brushless/AC power). Supports 1%-100% duty cycle (12kHz PWM) & 500W max output. Power limits: 12V≤250W, 24V≤350W, 48V≤450W, 60V≤400W. Reserve 5-10V margin (do not overload).
- Low Heat & Durable Design – Equipped with high-voltage MOSFET, 3x 100V capacitors & aluminum housing. Low heat generation, easy component replacement, no vibration/noise – reliable for long-term use. Extra fuse included for backup.
- Accurate Voltage Measurement Tip – Output voltage must be measured with a loaded motor (no-load readings = input voltage, which is normal). Suitable for DIY robotics, small tools, fans, mini pumps & hobby projects.
- Easy Wiring & Safe Operation – Input DC polarity must match (reverse = damage); motor output no polarity (swap wires for direction). On-board run/stop/brake switch + detachable 15cm potentiometer wire.
- Trusted Performance & Upgraded Design – Smooth speed transitions, overload current protection & stable operation. Modified to address common use issues –Suitable for hobbyists & DIY enthusiasts.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What does p and m mean? If Have 3 dc fans wired in parallel, which ports would be appropriate to install the wires into. And where to install power?**
A: Pwm stands for pulse width modulation. It's a way to take the available power from the battery and mange the power delivery to the device. Instead of the battery discharging at 100% rate, the power is being sent out in on/off pulses. This reduces the battery drain. The frequency of the pulses is selected by the user when turning the control knob. Some devices will work well with this (dc electric motors with this unit) and others may not. The benefits of this are: (1) Battery efficiency - This scheme is commonly used for motors powered by batteries to achieve significant improvements in battery life. I use mine (50 amp version) to run my older trolling motor. My batteries can last even double the amount of time by dialing back the knob so that I'm sending out a smaller percentage of the power than 100%. So, for example, if I chose to have the control set to 40% of max I would achieve a significant improvement in battery life. This also means that the motor would run slower. There is a trade off in performance, but it heavily favors battery efficiency. The way I use it, is with a voltage meter readout to observe it's performance. I've been able to deduce that the most efficient gear to use on my trolling motor is the fastest gear. Once I know that, I turn the dial to achieve the speed I want to go instead of achieving the same speed in a less efficient gear. I watch the battery meter to observe how fast the battery draw down is happening over time and choose a top speed that I'm willing to live with as a trade off of power versus battery life. Why this works is because batteries are most efficient when the discharge rate is the slowest. If I'm maxing the battery discharge rate, I'm reducing the battery run time. There is a sweet spot where the battery is happy and the speed is acceptable. (2) Infinite variable speed. This offers variable speed to a motor that only has one speed or several geared speeds. If you couldn't quite hit the right trolling speed in a fixed gear, you can nail the speed with this variable speed control. (3) Some units also have polarity reversal, which means that I can flip that switch and the motor will go in reverse. If a person fashioned a remote steering system for the trolling motor, the trolling motor tiller handle wouldn't have to be touched. It could operate remotely from another location in the boat. Some newer motors have this feature built in, so this device wouldn't have any benefit. A different application would be to have a 12 volt power supply and a 12 volt motor (old treadmills can sometimes have the motors). Hook up the 12 volt motor to a drill press, lathe, bandsaw, etc. and the device would now achieve variable speed. This is really useful for these tools. In the case of a bandsaw, a typical woodworking bandsaw witht the right blade can run slow enough to cut metal. The simpler way to have this effect for those tools would be to get an AC version of the pwm. This would still work, but would be more ideal for someone willing to retrofit the tool. It would be good for alternative energy users (solar, wind, battery banks).

**Q: How many wires come from the potentionmeter and can you add on to them?**
A: 3 wires. tiny voltage divider... this is all based on a 555 circuit driving 3 mosfets in parallel.

**Q: Will this work with 2 power wheel motors?**
A: As long as the power wheels motors are within its voltage range, yes. Just be careful not to feed them more voltage than they are rated for, or use a power supply whose voltage is matched to the spec of the motors

**Q: ¿nesecito para regular pulidoras cual es recomendable?**
A: Este aparato es muy servisial y creo que si lo puedes usar en las pulidora rregula la belosidad
