HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS This is a low-flex cable that has a much higher bending radius than other CAT cables. DURABILITY Cable is extremely well made, exterior material seems to be PVC jacketed with a great deal of UV protection. Cable is foil-wrapped with cloth interior. This is probably the highest quality CAT cable I've ever seen in my professional career. SPECIFICATION ADHERENCE This cables adheres to all of the design specifications for CAT6A (to my knowledge), networking hardware had no issues negotiating at 1000mbit (didn't try at 10Mbit) even when wire was located near power cables or at long distances. TERMINATION DIFFICULTY All of the added features of this cable makes it extremely difficult to terminate with RJ45 Connectors (although no issue with Keystone Jacks). If you plan on terminating with RJ45 ends, I would strongly suggest buying some that are rated for CAT6a cables to accommodate this cable. During termination, I found it helpful to untwist the wires and massage the wires straight before termination. This process will take some practice and you will likely become frustrated (I did). Practice terminating on the bench before doing it in the field. OVERALL IMPRESSIONS This is a great high quality cable when you are faced with difficult drops that have lots of EMI issues, have long transmission distances, or require outdoor runs that are exposed to sunlight.
