I wanted to avoid antibiotics. Her symptoms were urgency to pee and when she would pee not a lot came out. I took an at home test that showed she had a trace of leukocytes, no nitrites. I first gave her natures way pills and started slowly. 2 of those equal 500 mg. I first gave her one pill a day and then 1 and a half pills a day and then two pills a day. And then it started to show a difference with less urgency to Pee, but it wasn’t done. I ended up buying this stuff. I gave her on day 1, a half a scoop, then another scoop later in the day. Day 2 I gave her one scoop in the morning and another in the afternoon. Day 3 I gave her the adult dosage of 3 full doses a day. I gave her water to drink with it. And after 3 weeks of dealing with all this (she is home with me full time) she is clear. I ended up taking her to the urgent care because i ended buying uti test strips and her ph was not at a good level or so I thought. Urgent care ended up telling me there is no need to worry about pH.
