Takes sooooo much of the stress off the parent trying to figure out how to help teach and support kiddos learning. This made it easy and doable. Took all the intimidation out of it!! Before we began this book I taught my kids their letter sounds. I made sure they had them down SOLID. That was an essential first step. Both my kids had a little trouble moving from two-letter sounds to the three letter words, when that happened I’d keep the book facing me and just read the sounds aloud and let them form the word. “c-a-t”…. “CAT!” This helped them grasp the concept of blending three letter words a bit easier. Wonderful book, zero daily prep. We still review our letter sounds daily just to keep my kids sharp. Highly recommend.
