As small as they are, I found them quite useful, and mounted them on the walls that the door is attached to - they take up little space there, and allow using the area for little things (for instance, I have 4 32" mason jars on each shelf, to hold screws, bolts and other small parts).I found them useful enough to buy another pair (and installed them 2 on each side of the door).The plastic is sturdy, the shelf is very strong, and of course (as those of you who got a pair with your shed know), installation is as easy as one screwdriver or screw gun.With that said, here's some tips:(1) When you unpack the shelves, before you put them up, fold each mounting tab flat against the shelf top. Yes, bend it all the way past the 90 degree mounting position until it folds flat onto the shelf. Don't do this repeatedly - just do it once, immediately before you mount the shelf. When you let them go (don't unfold, just let go of the tab), it will unfold to an almost perfect 90 degree angle. Doing so will ensure you can get the shelf screwed firmly into the corner very easily, and make aligning all four screw holes easier.(2) I have been doing an outside corner first, with the shelf wedged against the shed wall (on both mounting sides), and then swing the shelf down until the screw holes align. Then I do the inside screw hole on the *other* tab, and then work through the rest - you might find an easier way, but this is the method I found worked best on my original two, remounting my original two (to make room for the new two), and on the new two.(3) if you use a screw gun, I would definitely suggest NOT using a cordless drill/screw gun (unless you turn the torque and speed settings to the lowest settings) - but you should have already read that warning in the shed instructions anyway. If you use something with too much torque, or that turns too fast, you run the risk of stripping the hole you create with the mounting screws.All in all, like my Lifetime shed, it's the good quality I'd expect - and if you've ever dealt with their customer service (US based), you'll find that the quality doesn't just end with their products - it extends to their customer service as well.USEFUL IF:- You've already installed the two shelves that came with your shed and don't know what to do with the space above/below them.- You want to add a little rigidity to the front corners of your shed (place a couple on each side, 1/3 from the top, 1/3 from the bottom, secure well/properly to the walls).- You've got a lot of little things you want to locate someplace that otherwise isn't a very useful storage area in the shed.OVERALL:If you are reading this, it means you probably already have a Lifetime shed, and already have at least one or two of these that came with the shed - this isn't anything different than what you got. It's simply a two pack that's identical to what came with your shed. And if your shed didn't come with these, you, like me, might find them a handy addition.
