I used them for Christmas puddings. The 1/4 size, I was able to put them altogether in the pressure cooker for 2 hours 2 1/2 pints of water. I then repeated the process with 4 of the 1/2 pint size. I had 3 on the trivet at the bottom and 1 on top of them.
