(Amazon purchase history is nice.) I chose these more expensive timers as I had a 1600 watt load and wanted some cushion. The timer was out of the weather, but was subjected to high and low temps (10F-105F). The display died within a year. Since it could have been the issue with the temperature, I didn't worry about it too much and replaced that application with a HD electro-mechanical motor switch timer. However, I have had two more fail within the last six months that were on very light loads of less than one watt and in my climate controlled bedroom. The relay failed on one, then the display failed on the other. I would like to get at least five years out of these devices, three years would be acceptable. Six months of life is not acceptable at all. I just installed my last remaining spare and hope for the best.UPDATE AUG 2022: The last one purchased wouldn't light up after setting sealed on a shelf for two years.
