A: I never put a cream beforehand, and it always kept my incision moisturized.

**Q: Could this be effective for a scar about 5 years old?**
A: Steph we think it is most effective for scars up to 2 years old, but it cannot hurt to try it.

**Q: Can you put cream or vitamin e on top of the scar before you put the patch on?**
A: You sure can! It may affect how well the patch stays on your skin though.

Used these after my C-section, and wow, they’re legit! Super easy to slap on—just peel and stick—and they stay put all day, even in the shower. My scar’s been less red and itchy since week one, and it’s flattening out nicely. The little case keeps them clean between uses, which is clutch.
